This week I’m stressing…

For the first time in a long time about work. For the last few months, I’ve had literally nothing to do at work – to the point of extreme boredom. Having a job where there’s nothing to do is actually incredibly miserable and I often come home and worry that my brain will melt out of my ears. The past week and a bit has been the complete opposite. I now have quite a lot to do. It doesn’t help that I’ve had so many work experience kids come into my office the past few weeks – some of them are seriously hard work! Even though I’ve had quite a lot on my plate I’m loving work being like this.

This week I’m collecting…

Train tickets. They’re seriously coming out of my ears at the moment. My Mum’s moving house this week and I’m heading back home to help her, then I have my driving test in a totally different location and I’m heading to Manchester soon too. All over the place. I’m feeling pretty grateful for my 16-25 railcard. Dreading the day it goes!

This week I’m baking…

Gluten free brownies. My boyfriend has recently made the involuntary move from gluten-intolerant to celiac so we’ve been trying out some of those random baking mixes you get in big supermarkets. So far they’ve actually been pretty good, but I’m super shocked by the weird and wonderful places you can find wheat sometimes.

I also tried to do Bake Off Bake Along this week and make some tea cakes. They were an absolute disaster. They’ve been sat in the kitchen for a while because I did think about feeding them to the birds but I’m not sure even they would have them. It’s safe to say I won’t be adding them to my repertoire any time soon.

This week I’m nursing…

Some sore feet after walking a bloody long way for Open House weekend. Look out for a post later this week on what I saw.

This week I’m watching…

So many things. I love the start of autumn/winter purely because TV gets good again. I can’t move for Bake Off, An Extra Slice, Educating Greater Manchester, Dr Foster (so good) and so many other TV shows.

This week I’m reading…

Fi’s post on her autumn wishlist – if I could ever get up early enough I’m sure a walk around Richmond park would be cracking. In the same vein, I also enjoyed Sophie’s post on what she’s looking forward to this Autumn.

Can you tell I’m a big fan of Autumn?

Hannah’s post on Cornwall because I’ve always wanted to visit but never quite managed to get around to doing it. It’s so far away!

This week I’m buying…

Oh Christ, so many clothes. I’ve bought so much and returned literally 80% of it, which my bank balance will hopefully thank me for when I eventually get all that refund money in. I did keep this ASOS wrap dress and a Primark pinafore (similar here) but I’m still on the lookout for a super casual slouchy coat so if anyone knows where I can get one from – please let me know. I was half tempted to get this New Look one in red. Even though colour isn’t usually my thing I’m loving all the red around at the moment.

What have you been up to this week?
